A veneer can make a chipped tooth look intact again. The porcelain covers the whole of the front of the tooth with a thicker section replacing the broken part.
Sometimes instead of a porcelain veneer, a natural colour 'composite' material is used. A natural-coloured filling material can be used for minor repairs to front teeth like chipped or broken tooth corners.

I have been a patient of Mr Powell's for over 20 years now, and my 3 adult children are also his patients.
I have a great fear of the dentist to the point I take a valium before each visit, but Mr Powell is so understanding, he talks me through everything that he is doing to put me at ease. He has the patience of a Saint as do the hygienists, the whole Dental Surgery work as a great team and are very helpful and friendly. One example New Year's Eve 2010 I broke a back tooth eating a meal, the surgery was closed until Jan 4th but the receptionist fitted me in and Mr Powell repaired my tooth the same day.
How good is that for service.
