Ian is a dentist whose clinical practice is limited to the specialty of Endodontics (root canal treatment). This field of Dentistry is concerned with infection and inflammation of the pulp tissue of teeth. These situations often cause pain and infection but when treated effectively, the teeth can be restored to full function and patients can maintain their natural arch of teeth.

Ian is a member of the British Endodontic Society and holds a master’s degree (Distinction) in Endodontics from King’s College London and a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, from the Royal College of Surgeons (Eng). Ian has worked in practice providing Endodontic treatment to patients on referral for several years and has also worked as a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool University Dental School.

Ian divides his clinical time between Elbow Lane Practice and Rose Lane Practice in Liverpool.
